Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
at least 2 years of bartending experience in upscale or high-end restaurant or 4 diamond hotel
at least 1 year of serving experience
knowledge of silverware or comparable restaurant software system
ability to work opening and closing shifts
excellent customer service skills
knowledge of food and wine pairings
ability to manage setup and breakdown of lounge
strong communication skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism

Job Qualifications

Personable and articulate with at least 2 years of previous bartending experience in an upscale, high-end restaurant or 4 diamond hotel
at least 1 year of previous serving experience
knowledge of silverware is a plus or 2 years experience with comparable restaurant software system
experience in opening and closing shifts
experience in table service and wine service
knowledge of food and wine pairing
knowledge of high-end liquors and aperitifs
experience with a high end bar menu
pleasant, well spoken, gracious and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction

Job Duties

Showcasing your unique personality and skills, you will engage with guests to create a memorable dining experience
you will be responsible for welcoming guests in our urban chic lounge Liberte, explaining the menu and taking food and beverage orders
you will serve food and beverages according to Sofitel and AAA 4 Diamond standards maintaining current knowledge of all menu offerings, to include ingredients, preparation method, and presentation
you will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the Liberte` Lounge during your assigned shift
