Job Requirements

  • Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire
  • minimum 1 year bartending experience required
  • prior server experience preferred
  • comprehensive knowledge of wine, liquor and beer
  • must agree to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines
  • able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
  • flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
  • ability to lift, carry, push and pull moderate weight objects
  • willingness to work in interior bar and kitchen areas and travel around resort as needed
  • tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals and food and beverage products

Job Qualifications

  • Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire
  • 1 year bartending experience required

  • comprehensive wine, liquor and beer knowledge required

  • ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English verbally and in writing
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects of moderate weight
  • familiarity with interior restaurant kitchen and bar areas
  • exposure to cleaning chemicals, food items and beverages

Job Duties

  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper attire and name tag
  • provide outstanding service to guests, members and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • produce drinks for servers, guests and members according to standard recipes
  • maintain familiarity with the wine list, stemware and garnishes
  • keep bar stocked and clean
  • monitor inventory
  • ensure consistency in presentation and recipes of cocktails
  • maintain knowledge of menus and beverage offerings
  • enforce policies related to TABC laws
  • assist with front of house tasks such as greeting tables and taking initial drink orders
  • assist in orientation and training of new associates
  • participate in department meetings and trainings
  • perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager
