Job Requirements
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Updated Food Handlers Card/Serv Safe and Bar Card per Mobile County Health Department
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum six months bartending experience
- Updated Food Handlers Card/Serv Safe and Bar Card as required by Mobile County Health Department
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed yet able to work within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Meet the company standard for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide accurate service
- Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Learn and suggestively upsell beer, wine, and spirits to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly following company serving size standards
- Check guests’ IDs according to legal age requirements
- Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- Request management assistance for decisions beyond standard scope
- Restock bar products as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage issued bank
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Set up and break down bar equipment
- Assist with cooler organization
