Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of a Point of Sales system
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to work in a non-air conditioning outdoor environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Must pass drug test and background check
  • On-the-job training is not provided
  • Must be able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to perform bartending tasks
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to identify signs of intoxication and serve alcohol responsibly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience in a resort, club, or upscale dining environment preferred
  • Knowledge of a Point of Sales system
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Communicate with members and guests using clear, enthusiastic words, tone, and body language
  • Work with the Club's personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
  • Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws
  • Mix liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • Prepare appetizers such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats
  • Ring food and beverage orders into the computer before preparing them
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with the Club's standards
  • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
  • Serve alcohol responsibly
  • coordinate with all servers/team members to identify the signs of intoxication
  • Place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times
  • Learn members' and guests' names, occupations, and favorite drinks to make the Club a special place for them
