Job Requirements
- TABC certification
 - Food handler certification
 - Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and long hours
 - Excellent attendance and punctuality
 - Ability to handle cash accurately
 - Strong interpersonal skills
 - Ability to de-escalate difficult situations
 - Knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
 - Prior experience bartending
 
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
 - Accurate cash handling skills
 - Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
 - Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 - Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
 - Bartending school preferred
 
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
 - Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
 - Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
 - Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirit products to guests
 - Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
 - Check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirement
 - Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
 - Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
 - De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
 - Request additional product or restock supplies as required
 - Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
 - Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
 - Set up and break down bar equipment
 - Ensure compliance with TABC and food handler certifications
