Job Requirements
- minimum six months bartending experience
- ability to handle cash accurately
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- must be able to meet company attendance standards
- must check guest's ID to comply with alcohol laws
- ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Job Qualifications
- six months or more experience bartending
- accurate cash handling skills
- ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
- bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- meet the company standard for excellent in guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
- check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase
- communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- request additional or restock product as needed
- handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
- maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
- perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
