Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Knowledge of alcohol beverage service regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accurate cash handling ability
  • Ability to handle high pressure and fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Must be of legal drinking age

  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest’s ID in accordance with regulations to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional product or restock as required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • Set up and breakdown bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
