Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations and company procedures
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirit products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations, contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management when decisions exceed bartender’s scope
  • Request and restock products as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure clean bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
