Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum six months bartending experience
Knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
Must be able to stand for long periods
Must have reliable attendance
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Six months or more experience bartending
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service accordingly
Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
Learn and suggestively upsell various beers, wines, and spirits
Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
Check guest ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
Contact management if decisions are beyond standard scope
Request restock of products as needed
Handle cash accurately and maintain the issued bank
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station
Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Set up and breakdown bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
Perform other duties as assigned
