Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional product or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler
