Job Requirements

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available, and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
  • Contact management or security as required
  • Request additional product or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
