Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more bartending experience
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • knowledge of alcohol beverage laws and regulations
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work nights weekends and long hours
  • capable of de-escalating difficult guest situations
  • must be personable and professional
  • strong communication skills
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willing to work flexible schedules
  • able to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Job Qualifications

  • six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations pertaining to alcohol distribution
  • be knowledgeable of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate situations involving intoxicated guests and contact management or security if needed
  • request additional product or restock as required
  • handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station ensuring bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler as required
