  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • learn and suggestively upsell various beer wine varieties and spirits to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • check guest IDs in accordance with regulations to verify legal age
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • request additional product or restock as necessary
  • handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
  • perform other duties as assigned
