Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more experience bartending
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • must be at least legal drinking age to serve alcohol

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID in compliance with legal age requirements
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests when required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management for decisions beyond standard decision-making scope
  • Request or restock products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and manage bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and equipment
  • Perform bar setup and breakdown duties and assist with cooler organization
