Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service accordingly
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn about various beer, wine, and spirit varieties and upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security when necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request and restock bar products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and manage bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
