Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of bartending experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of beverage service and mixology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must comply with company uniform standards and policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of bartending experience required
  • 1-2 years of verifiable experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment with a strong guest service focus preferred
  • ServSafe Alcohol or other responsible alcohol service certification preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative team spirit
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during events

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as required
  • Contact management when decisions are beyond standard scope
  • Request additional or restock product as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank when applicable
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organize the cooler
  • Perform other duties as assigned
