- Accurate cash handling skills

- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
- Contact management if unable to resolve or decide beyond standard decision-making
- Request additional or restock product as needed
- Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
