Job Requirements

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed in team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits to suggestively upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirements
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as needed
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues outside decision-making scope
  • Request additional product or restock as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
  • Perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization as required
