Job Requirements

  • Must demonstrate ability to meet company standard for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Must follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus
  • Must serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Must have knowledge of beer wine varieties and spirits available
  • Must pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • Must check guest's ID to verify age
  • Must communicate cut-offs as required
  • Must listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • Must de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security when needed
  • Must contact management if unable to resolve issues
  • Must handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank
  • Must maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • Must ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if guests become confrontational belligerent or use extreme profanity
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues or make decisions beyond standard scope
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station at all times
  • Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
