Job Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have or obtain responsible beverage service certification
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or event venue preferred
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Exceptional multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
- Outgoing, energetic, and passionate about creating an unforgettable guest experience
- Must meet state and local alcohol service requirements (e.g., TIPS or similar responsible beverage service certification)
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with The Dome’s event schedule
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately while maintaining high presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent service and fostering a lively atmosphere
- Recommend premium drink selections and specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process transactions efficiently using the venue’s point-of-sale system while following cash-handling procedures
- Stock, clean, and maintain the bar area before, during, and after shifts to ensure a smooth operation
- Follow all responsible beverage service laws and venue policies, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption
- Work closely with barbacks, servers, and management to maintain seamless service throughout events
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe and clean working environment
