Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to follow state and federal alcohol service laws
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Must maintain excellent attendance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and co-workers
  • Must be personable and professional
  • Ability to de-escalate difficult guest situations
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry items as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine and spirits products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest’s ID to verify minimum legal drinking age
  • Communicate cut-off to guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond scope of standard decision-making
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for the issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
