Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more bartending experience
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol laws and regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • excellent attendance and punctuality
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to manage difficult situations calmly
  • availability to work event schedules as required

Job Qualifications

  • six months or more bartending experience
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service accordingly
  • serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal alcohol regulations
  • learn and suggestively upsell beer wine and spirits products
  • pour drinks responsibly per company serving size standards
  • check guests' IDs to verify legal age for alcohol purchase
  • communicate service cut-offs to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • contact management when decisions exceed standard scope
  • request and restock products as necessary
  • handle cash accurately and manage issued bank
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station ensuring bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist in cooler organization
  • other duties as assigned
