Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more bartending experience
  • knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate excellent guest service and interaction with coworkers
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus
  • serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations
  • learn and suggest upselling of various beer, wine, and spirits
  • pour drinks responsibly to company standards
  • check guest IDs for legal drinking age compliance
  • communicate cut-offs to guests as needed
  • listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security when required
  • request and restock bar products
  • handle cash accurately and manage issued bank
  • maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
  • perform bar setup and breakdown duties
  • assist with cooler organization
