Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or more bartending experience
- knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to handle cash accurately
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- accurate cash handling skills
- ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be self-directed while working in a team environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and long hours
- bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate excellent guest service and interaction with coworkers
- follow bar pre-shift notes and menus
- serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations
- learn and suggest upselling of various beer, wine, and spirits
- pour drinks responsibly to company standards
- check guest IDs for legal drinking age compliance
- communicate cut-offs to guests as needed
- listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security when required
- request and restock bar products
- handle cash accurately and manage issued bank
- maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
- perform bar setup and breakdown duties
- assist with cooler organization
