Job Requirements
- Must meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform
- Must serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
- Must know various beer, wine varieties and spirits
- Must pour drinks responsibly
- Must verify guest age for alcohol purchase
- Must communicate cut-offs to guests
- Must be able to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Must be able to handle cash accurately
- Must maintain a clean and sanitary work station
- Must be available for scheduled shifts including events
- Must have excellent attendance
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
Job Duties
- Meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service
- Serve alcoholic beverages complying with state and federal regulations
- Know various beer, wine, and spirits and upsell products
- Pour drinks responsibly by company serving size standards
- Check guest IDs to verify age for alcohol purchase
- Communicate service cut-off to guests
- Respond to customer requests and concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- Ask management for decisions beyond standard scope
- Request and restock products as necessary
- Handle cash accurately and manage assigned cash bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
- Set up and breakdown bar equipment and organize cooler as required
