Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum six months experience bartending
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment

  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state and federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
  • learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • check guest’s ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • request additional product or restock product as required
  • handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at the bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station at all times and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler
