Job Requirements

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Duties

  • Must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state/federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
