Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more bartending experience
  • valid alcohol service certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • accurate cash handling
  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • alcohol certification (ServSafe Alcohol/Tips) required

Job Duties

  • must demonstrate ability to meet company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits
  • pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • check guests’ IDs for minimum age verification
  • communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations, contact management or security if necessary
  • contact management if unable to resolve issues
  • request additional or restock product as needed
  • handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and well-maintained bar equipment
  • perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organizing the cooler
  • other duties as assigned
