Job Duties
- must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- learn and have knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- check guest IDs according to state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
- communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
- request additional or restock product as needed
- handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
- maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
- perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing cooler
