Job Duties

must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
learn and have knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
check guest IDs according to state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
communicate a cut-off to guests as required
listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
request additional or restock product as needed
handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing cooler
