Job Requirements

  • six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • TABC required

  • bartending school preferred
  • TABC required

Job Duties

  • must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • learn and have knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • check guest IDs according to state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • request additional or restock product as needed
  • handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
  • perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing cooler
