Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide described service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as needed
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated or confrontational guest situations and contact management or security if required
  • Request additional products or restock as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and manage the issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and organize the cooler
  • Perform other duties as assigned
