Job Requirements

  • Completion of bartending school preferred
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Meet company standards for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Verify guest IDs to ensure minimum age compliance
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management for decisions beyond standard scope
  • Request and restock products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and manage bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and equipment
  • Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
