Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol serving regulations
  • Ability to manage guest interactions professionally
  • Physical ability to perform extensive standing walking and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and events
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standard for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide described service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations and company procedures
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine and spirit varieties and upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Request additional product or restock as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler as assigned
