Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more bartending experience
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Knowledge of state and federal alcohol serving regulations
- Ability to manage guest interactions professionally
- Physical ability to perform extensive standing walking and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standard for guest service interaction and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide described service
- Serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations and company procedures
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine and spirit varieties and upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
- Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- Request additional product or restock as needed
- Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of the cooler as assigned
