Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn and know various beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to serving size standards
  • Verify guests' IDs and ensure legal age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as needed
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain responsibility for assigned bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and equipment
  • Set up and break down bar equipment and assist in cooler organization as needed
