Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service accordingly
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirit products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • Check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirements
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as necessary
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues
  • Restock products as required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure equipment is well maintained
  • Assist with bar equipment set-up and breakdown and cooler organization as needed
