Job Requirements
- Attach proof of age to legally serve alcohol
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Must be personable and professional
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more bartending experience
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
- Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirit varieties, suggestively upselling products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
- Communicate cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
- Request and restock products as needed
- Handle cash accurately and be responsible for assigned cash bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station
- Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform other duties such as bar equipment setup and breakdown and cooler organization
