Job Requirements

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as self-directed in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide specified service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits to suggestively upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase in compliance with regulations
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management when unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional product or restock as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for the issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
