Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state/federal regulations pertaining to alcohol distribution
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase
  • Communicate cut-off to guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management when unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional product or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage issued bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform setup, breakdown of bar equipment, and assist with cooler organization as assigned
