Job Duties
- Meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following state/federal regulations pertaining to alcohol distribution
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase
- Communicate cut-off to guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- Contact management when unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
- Request additional product or restock product as required
- Handle cash accurately and manage issued bar bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform setup, breakdown of bar equipment, and assist with cooler organization as assigned
