Job Requirements
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Valid TABC and Food Handlers certificate
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties and spirits to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
- Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirements
- Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- Contact management for decisions beyond standard scope
- Request and restock bar products as required
- Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
