Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years bartending experience
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
  • Current alcohol service certification preferred
  • Food handlers certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years bartending experience, preferably in a catering, banquet, or high-volume event setting
  • Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment operation
  • Current alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred as well as Food Handlers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down bar service areas for catered events, including stocking beverages, glassware, garnishes, and necessary equipment
  • Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company and event specifications
  • Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and local regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, tools, and service equipment in accordance with food safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Handle credit card transactions and reconcile sales at the end of each event when required
  • Collaborate with catering team members to ensure smooth service flow and timely guest satisfaction
  • Respond promptly to guest needs, questions, or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
  • Follow company policies regarding responsible service, safety, and operational procedures
