Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months bartending experience
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow state and federal alcohol service laws
  • Must maintain excellent attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interact professionally with co-workers, follow uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide beverage service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Possess knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to serving size standards
  • Check guest IDs to verify minimum legal drinking age
  • Communicate alcohol service cut-offs
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management when decisions exceed standard scope
  • Request and restock bar products as necessary
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work station and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
