Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum six months bartending experience
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of alcohol service laws
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • six months or more bartending experience
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service
  • serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and legal regulations
  • learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirit varieties
  • pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • verify guest IDs in compliance with laws
  • communicate cut-offs to guests as needed
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations or contact management/security if required
  • request additional or restock products as necessary
  • handle cash accurately and manage bar bank
  • maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
  • perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist in cooler organization
