Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience required
  • Knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer wine and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • Verify guest IDs in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions
  • Request or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
  • Perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
