Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond scope of standard decision-making
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and well-maintained bar equipment
  • Perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
