Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling ability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed and team-oriented work approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and long shifts
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties and spirits to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest ID to verify age requirements for alcoholic beverage purchases
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security when necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or beyond decision-making scope
  • Request additional or restock products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
  • Other duties as assigned such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
