Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending in high volume environment
  • Ability to accurately handle register and revenue collections through POS system
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid ServSafe Alcohol certificate
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

  • Ability to meet company standard of excellence in guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge or ability to learn about various beer wine and spirits
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid ServSafe Alcohol certificate
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and be able to suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at bar
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
