Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending in high volume environment
  • Ability to handle register and revenue collections accurately using POS system
  • Must meet company standards in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about various beer, wine and spirits
  • Ability to work self-directed in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid ServSafe Alcohol certificate prior to employment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell beer, wine, and spirits products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest identification to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns promptly
  • De-escalate situations with intoxicated guests and contact management or security if necessary
  • Manage cash accurately and maintain issued bank at bar
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstation and bar equipment
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and organization of bar equipment and cooler
