Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations

  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide beverage service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Knowledge and suggestive upselling of beer, wine, and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • Verify guests' ID to ensure legal drinking age
  • Communicate alcohol service cut-offs to guests
  • Respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Request or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage the assigned bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and well-maintained bar equipment
  • Assist in setup and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
