Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months bartending experience
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol laws
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

  • Meet company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggest various beer, wine varieties, and spirits to upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving sizes
  • Check guest IDs to verify age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate alcohol service cut-offs to guests as required
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if decisions exceed standard scope
  • Request and restock products as necessary
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain assigned cash bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and equipment
  • Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
