Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable attendance
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
  • Request additional product or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
  • Other duties as assigned
