Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Six months or more bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Meet the company standard for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggest various beer, wine varieties and spirits to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues or make decisions beyond standard scope
  • Request additional product or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage assigned bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
