Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • two years bartending experience strongly preferred
  • extensive wine knowledge strongly preferred
  • one-year restaurant experience required
  • pleasant personality required
  • excellent communication skills in a loud environment required
  • able state alcohol certification and food handler certification required prior to first day worked
  • must live within 50 miles of the hotel

Job Duties

  • Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes
  • familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used
  • follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual including jigger pour and making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros
  • keep bar stocked and clean
  • monitor inventory
  • ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails
  • be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws
  • be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants
